Scynett Hotspot launches in October 2026. Our full terms of service and privacy policy are being prepared and reviewed before launch. This page will carry them as soon as they are ready.
In the meantime, everything below is a plain statement of how we intend to operate. If anything here matters to a decision you are making, call or WhatsApp 055 786 5822 and ask us directly — we would rather answer than have you guess.
What we sell
Prepaid internet access in Koforidua and the surrounding communities: hotspot plans bought at our hotspots, monthly home broadband, and business connections.
Prices and payment
The prices shown on our plans page are the prices you pay. Every plan is prepaid, so there is no contract, no minimum term and no early-termination charge. Installation for home and business connections is a one-off GHS 600, which includes your router.
What “up to” means
Wireless internet speeds vary with distance, line of sight, weather and how many people are using the network at the time. We will tell you honestly what to expect at your address before we install anything.
Data allowances
Hotspot plans carry the data allowance and validity period shown on the plans page. A plan ends when you reach either limit, whichever comes first. The Night Owl plan works only between 10pm and 6am; access outside those hours is refused.
Equipment
The router supplied at installation is covered by the GHS 600 installation fee. Please look after it — damage or loss may mean a replacement charge.
Support and outages
We are a local team in Koforidua. Call or WhatsApp 055 786 5822 between 9:00am and 5:00pm, or email info@scynetthotspot.com. Networks occasionally need maintenance, and we will give notice where we can.
Your information
When you contact us through this site we collect your name, phone number, the area you are in, and an email address if you choose to give one. We use it to respond to your enquiry and arrange service. We do not sell it and we do not share it with anyone outside Scynett Hotspot. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email info@scynetthotspot.com.
A fuller privacy policy, prepared under Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), will be published here before launch.

Tell us first — 055 786 5822 or info@scynetthotspot.com — and we will try to put it right. Ghanaian law applies to our service.
